Peewee Thunder Go Back to Back

The Peewee Thunder win their second tournament in a row after going 6-0 in Stoney Creek. The team opened up the tournament on the Friday morning beating the Oakville Rangers 3-2 and later in the day beating Niagara Falls Flyers 6-2. Saturday was another successful day for the Thunder who beat the Waterloo Wolves 4-1 and the Guelph Jr Gryphons 9-2. On Sunday moving into the semi finals the Thunder lit up the score board beating Burlington Jr. Cougars 12-1 to take them into the Championship game, lead by their Captain Ben Swick, the Thunder put on a stellar performance to beat the Jordan Lions 6-3 to bring the banner home to Lawfield.
